PA BOXING HALL OF FAME
WELCOMES NINE NEW INDUCTEES

 

 
   

The Pennsylvania Boxing Hall of  Fame inducted nine new members at their annual banquet on Sunday, May 20, 2012. Welcomed this year were boxers Johnny Carter, Eddie Corma, Dorsey Lay, Steve Little, Frank Moran, Joe Rowan & Jesse Smith and non-boxers Nigel Collins & Joe Hand. Also honored at the affair was VBA - Ring One Man of the Year Vic de Wysocki.



Johnny Carter, bantamweight boxer of the 1980s.



Nigel Collins, writer and editor.



Eddie Corma, welterweight boxer of the 1950s.



Joe Hand, promoter, manager, gym proprietor.



Dorsey Lay, lightweight boxer of the 1940s.



Steve Little, Jr., son of Steve Little, deceased IBF super-
middleweight champion, accepts his father's Hall of Fame plaque.



Cecilia Carroll Graham, daughter of heavyweight boxer Frank Moran,
with Robert Byrnes, grand nephew of Moran.



Joe Rowan, Jr., son of 1950s heavyweight boxer Joe Rowan,
accepts his father's Hall of Fame plaque.



Daughters of deceased middleweight boxer Jesse Smith,
Tanya & Toni, accept his Hall of Fame plaque.



VBA Ring One "Man of the Year" Vic de Wysocki.



Former ring stars Stanley "Kitten" Hayward and "Joltin' Jeff  Chandler".
