BERT COOPER TO BE HONORED
WITH STREET DEDICATION

On Saturday, June 12, 2021, a street in Darby Township / Sharon Hill, PA will be dedicated in honor of hometown hero, Bert Cooper, the late great cruiserweight and heavyweight boxer.

Marvin Smith, Commissioner, Darby Township Ward 1, drove the effort to rename Hook Road to BERT COOPER WAY!

Everyone is welcome to attend the dedication event scheduled for this coming Saturday.

Date: Saturday, June 12, 2021
Time: 10:00 AM
Location: Hook Road & Clifton Ave. (1201 Clifton Ave.), Sharon Hill, PA, Darby Township, PA 19079

The festivities include the Street Dedication (10 AM) and a Motorcade (after). All boxers, fans, and friends are encouraged to come out to honor Smokin' Bert Cooper.
