The Atlantic City Boxing Hall of Fame will host a launch party for the new book Boxing in Atlantic City on Friday, December 03, 2021, 4-7 PM, at the Flagship Resort's Sixty Cafe - Bar - Lounge (60 North Maine Street, Atlantic City, NJ 08401). Co-authors John DiSanto and Matthew H. Ward will be signing and selling copies of their new book at the event.
Boxing in Atlantic City is a soft cover, 128 page book published by Arcadia Publishing. It contains 230 photos, many of them never before published. The book costs $24 and all forms of payment will be accepted (cash, credit card, Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, etc.). A purchase of the book is appreciated but not required. There will be a cash bar and light appetizers served at the event. Everyone is welcome to attend. We hope to see you there. |

Two-division
world champion Michael Spinks will be attending the party. Spinks
was one of the essential participants during AC's boxing heyday,
with 13 appearances in the city between 1980 and 1988, including ten
title bouts. Other former boxers expected to attend include Ivan
Robinson, Earl Hargrove, Darren Maciunski, Frank Savannah, Osnel
Charles, and Curtis Parker. Jeff Chandler, Richie Kates and others
were also invited. Icons of Boxing will also be at the event with
their own slate of notable boxers sitting for (paid) autographs,
photos, and memorabilia sales.
