Philly's Thyler Williams was scheduled to headline the Jeter Promotions show at the 2300 Arena on Saturday, December 3rd. However, when his opponent, Maurice Anthony, tested positive for Covid at the weigh-in the day before, the Michigan fighter was out. Instead, Williams clashed with Rock Ministries Gym-mate Johnny Rivera in an exhibition and Jeter's Mansaborie Conde was elevated to star billing.

CONDE WINS IN ONE
Conde, a Laurel, MD southpaw, took on Davon Hall of Wilmington, but the middleweight bout didn't last long. Conde scored a first round TKO after just 1:41 had elapsed. Referee Shawn Clark stopped the bout. Conde improved to 4-0, 3 KOs, while Hall remained winless, 0-3.

HUTCHERSON DECISIONS KENNEDY

In a junior lightweight fight, Jaqeem Hutcherson, Forestville, MD, defeated DeShawn Kennedy, Holland, MI, by four-round majority decision. Judge Marc Werlinsky called the bout even, 38-38, but was overruled by Tony Lundy and Ron McNair who saw the fight 39-37 for Hutcherson, now 4-1. Kennedy remained winless, 0-6.

DUNTON EL JR. TOPS ARANA

Baltimore's Antonio Dunton El Jr. stayed unbeaten with a four-round decision over New Yorker Ronny Arana. Dunton dropped Arana in the final round and took all three official scorecards (Lundy, McNair & Werlinsky) 40-35. Dunton raised his record to 2-0-1. Arana remained winless, 0-4.

JONES KAYOS ZIMMERMAN
Baltimore junior welterweight Ahmad Muhammad Jones made a successful pro debut with a first round knockout of Joshua Zimmerman, also of Baltimore. The bout lasted 1:09. The referee was Eric Dali. Jones left 1-0, 1 KO, while Zimmerman remained winless, 0-7.

Clearly the key phrase for the four professional B-Side opponents on this night was "winless". Although matching an opponent for a debuting fighter (Ahmad Muhammad Jones) is understandable, the fact that none of the other foes had ever managed a previous win, is a disgrace - and likely not a coincidence. To be fair, Williams' would-be opponent, Anthony Jones, was 3-3. However, there was no question how these bouts would turn out. The rest of the show was slate of amateur bouts. Amateur fighters are always fun to watch, and usually bring in a good crowd - something necessary when the professional side of the event is so poor.
