Bantamweight Christian Carto added another quick knockout to his resume Friday night at South Philly's 2300 Arena. The scheduled eight-round bout topped a six-bout show promoted by Marshall Kauffman's Kings Promotions. The power-punching Carto's first round stoppage over Ernesto Sebastian Franzolini came after a hard body shot put the Argentine on the canvas and the bout was stopped moments later after just 2:31. This was Carto's second straight opening-rounder in a comeback campaign after his after his lone professional defeat back in 2019.

Carto improved his pro slate to 18-1, 13 KOs, with the victory. Fighting in the USA for the first time, Franzolini, of Buenos Aires, slid to 14-13-2, 1 KO. It was his third loss by knockout.

After dropping him with a right hand, Prenga finished the fight with an uppercut that sent Webster down again. The fight was stopped at the 1:09 mark in round two. Prenga improved to 11-1 with 11 KOs. Webster, 12-5-3, 6 KOs, lost for the second straight time.
