James Martin scored a six-round unanimous decision over previously undefeated Roudly Lolo in a junior middleweight bout that highlighted a five-bout card at the 2300 Arena. The show was promoted by King's Promotions. The fight was tactical but had some solid pockets of action where Martin used his experience and boxing ability to keep Lolo at bay. Martin, of Philadelphia, won by scores of 60-54 twice and 59-55. He is now 10-3-1. Lolo, of Harrisburg, PA, is 5-1-2, 3 KOs. The referee was Eric Dali. Tony Lundy, Ron McNair, and Robert Rubnitz judged all five bouts on the card.

BEDNAREK STILL UNDEFEATED

Kamil Bednarek remained undefeated by scoring three knockdowns en-route to a first-round stoppage over Gonzalo Andreasen in a super middleweight contest. The time of the stoppage by referee Harvey Dock was 2:54. Bednarek, of Dzierzoniel, Poland, is now 12-0 with seven knockouts. Andreasen, of Buenos Aries, Argentina, is 10-11, 8 KOs.

ALBRIGHT STOPS THOMAS

Quadir Albright rebounded nicely from his first defeat by stopping tough David Thomas in the sixth and final round of their welterweight bout. Albright lost his last bout by TKO in the same ring last October. Albright, of Philadelphia, stopped Thomas at 1:34 into the sixth round. The referee was Eric Dali. Albright raised his record to 7-1, with seven knockouts. Thomas, of Orange, Texas, fell to 6-6-1, 2 KOs.

ROBINSON WINS IN ONE

21-year-old Ibrahim Robinson made his King's Promotions debut a memorable one with an opening round stoppage of Jahqwon Humbert in their scheduled four-round welterweight bout. Robinson dropped Humbert twice before referee Harvey Dock stopped the fight. The time was 1:40. Robinson, of Baltimore, is 5-0-1 with five knockouts. Humbert, of Raleigh, NC, is 2-1, 1 KO.

ELLIS BLASTS BETHEA

Heavyweight Ali Ellis needed just twenty seconds and one left hook to take out Khalid Bethea in a four-round bout that opened the card. The referee was Eric Dali. Ellis, of Philadelphia, is 2-0 with two knockouts. Bethea, of Jersey City, NJ, is 0-3.

Approximately five hundred fans attended the show. Next up for King's Promotions is an event in Fort Worth, TX on April 27th. Then five days later, King’s Promotions returns to Philadelphia on May 2nd for a card at Live! Casino Hotel in South Philly. Both events will be officially announced this week.
