Marshall Kauffman's King's Promotions staged a 10-bout show at the 2300 Arena in South Philly on Saturday night, May 20th. The card featured five 8-rounders. In the main event, Ivan Jimenez won a majority decision over James Bernadin in an eight-rounder with the NABF regional lightweight title on the line. Jimenez won the official decision by scores of 78-74, 77-75, and 76-76. The Florida-based Cuban improved to 8-1-2, 4 KOs with the victory. James Bernadin, Lancaster, PA via Haiti, lost for the first time in 12 bouts (10-1-1, 6 KOs).

In another 8-rounder, Courtney Pennington edged James Martin in a junior middleweight fight. The scorecards were split with Pennington winning two, 78-74 & 77-75, while Martin took the third, 78-74. Pennington, Brooklyn, NY, improved to 17-6-3, 7 KOs. Martin slid to 10-4-1.

Bantamweight Brittany Sims, Salem, OR, won the NABF regional title belt with a very close 8-round decision over Canadian Mikenna Tansley. The majority decision went to Sims by scores of 77-75 twice and 76-76. Sims raised her record to 4-3, 2 KOs. Mikenna left 7-3, 2 KOs.

Brazilian lightweight Estivan Falcao halted Djamel Dahou of Las Vegas 30 seconds into the fifth round of their 8-round bout. Referee Shada Murdaugh stopped the fight. Falcao's lifted his record to 12-2, 7 KOs. Dahou lost for the first time as a pro, 18-1, 16 KOs.

Flyweight Amy Salinas, Las Cruces, NM, shutout Ashley Sciscente of Charlotte, NC, by three scores of 80-72 in their eight-round contest. Salinas improved to 5-4, while Sciscente, 6-4, 2 KOs, lost her second straight.

In a six-round welterweight contest, Philly's Quadir Albright knocked out Nathan Luyando, Champaign, IL, in round four. Referee Eric Dali ended the bout at 1:29 of the fourth round. Albright left 8-1, 8 KOs. Luyando went home 4-2, 2 KOs.

In another 6-rounder, Julian Gonzalez, Reading, PA, beat Clay Burns, Ft. Worth, TX, in a junior lightweight fight. Gonzalez took the decision by three one-sided scores of 60-54. The win continued his unbeaten streak, 10-0-1, 9 KOs, while Burns, 10-18-2, 4 KOs, lost his fifth in a row.

Baltimore welterweight Muhammad Robinson extended his undefeated run to 6-0, 2 KOs, with a 6-round unanimous decision over Kevin Davila of Lakewood, WA. Robinson swept the official scores 59-55 and 60-54 twice. Davila fell to 5-10-3, 1 KO.

Junior welterweight Najeem Johns, Darby, PA, scored a TKO over Travis Floyd at 2:25 of the second round od a four-rounder. The referee was Eric Dali. The win was Johns' fourth straight knockout win, 4-0, 4 KOs. Floyd, 0-4, Douglasville, GA, remained winless.

In the opening fight of the night, Philadelphia heavyweight Ali Ellis won by first-round TKO over Ramsey McGraw, Champaign, IL. Referee Eric Dali stopped the fight after the first round. The official time was 3:00 of the first. Ali scored his third straight knockout, 3-0, 3 KOs. McGraw, 1-3, lost his third straight.
