Marshall Kauffman's King's Promotions opened the 2024 Philly boxing season with an eight-bout show at the Live! Casino in South Philly. The popular Christian Carto won his fourth straight bout, beating Ardin Dale of the Philippines by second round knockout. The win improved Carto's record to 21-1, with 14 KOs. Dale fell to 35-19-4, 17 KOs. The time was 1:09. In the co-feature, rising light heavyweight Atif Oberlton (9-0, 7 KOs) beat Cleotis Pendarvis (22-20-2, 9 KOs) by second round KO. The time was 1:26. Also on the card, Quadir Albright improved to 10-1 (10 KOs); Renny Mastrapa (3-0, 2 KOs) upset Ibrahim Robinson (6-1-1, 5 KOs) over six rounds; and Jaclyne McTamney returned to Live! Casino for her second straight victory (2-0, 1 KO). Three additional bouts filled out the card.
