The Pennsylvania Boxing
Hall of Fame held their annual induction ceremony Sunday,
May 17th at Romano's Catering in Philadelphia. Fifteen new
members from the PA boxing scene were inducted in both the
"Boxer" and "Non-Boxer" categories.
The boxers honored were
Jerome Artis, Wee Willie Davies, John David Jackson, Tony
Martin, Hank Quinn, Roger Russell, Steve Traitz, Jr.,
Anthony Witherspoon, and Tommy Yarosz. Non-Boxer Inductees
were Milt Bailey (Cut Man), Baron Dougherty (Manager), Joey
Eye (Cut Man), Bouie Fisher (Trainer), Slim Jim Robinson
(Trainer), and Sam Solomon (Trainer).

could not be found in time for the event. So, PABHOF
Chairman John DiSanto accepted for them. Anthony Witherspoon
did not attend the event.
These four Hall of Fame
plaques will be held at the VBA - Ring One Club House until
they can be passed to the appropriate party for each.
