Former boxer and VBA member was honored as the
VBA - Ring One Man of the Year for his many contributions to the sport and to the Veteran Boxers organization.

 
         
    Former National Amateur (AAU) champion and pro light-weight prospect of the 1950s and 1960s, Sidney "Sweet Pea" Adams was elected to the PA Boxing Hall of Fame, and attended the ceremony with his family and friends.  
         
   

Amateur Philly Diamond Belt champion and professional lightweight contender of the 1950s, Henry "Toothpick" Brown entered the Hall of Fame 51 years after his retirement.

 
         
   

Calvin "Silky" Grove accepted his Hall of Fame
award. Grove was the IBF featherweight champion
in 1988.

 
         
   

Former IBF junior middleweight champion Robert
"Bam Bam" Hines was in attendance. 

 
         
    Dave Tiberi, who challenged James Toney for the IBF middleweight title, became one of the youngest boxers to enter the hall at age 42.  
         
   

Douglas Hart, the brother of Garnet "Sugar" Hart, spoke for his deceased brother, and accepted his PA Hall of Fame plaque.

 
         
    Charley Scott, Jr. represented his father, the deceased boxing star Charley Scott.  
         
    The daughter of famed cut man Eddie Aliano, Patricia Crawford, accepted her father's Hall of Fame plaque.
She is pictured here with former boxer Johnny Gilmore, who was trained by Aliano during his career.
 
         
    George Silvano accepted Hall of Fame induction for his father Jimmy Wilson (Vincent Silvano), one of Philly's greatest trainers and cut men.  
         
    Promoter J Russell Peltz with former IBF lightweight champion Charlie 'Choo Choo' Brown.  
         
    Boxing brothers Lloyd & Henry Brown. Both won the Diamond Belt in 1951, Lloyd at 126 pounds, and Henry
at 118 pounds. Lloyd is also the father of Choo Choo Brown.
 
         
   

VBA Vice-president Billy Abel, Sr. presents Douglas Hart with Sugar Hart's Hall of Fame plaque.

 
         
    Hall of Fame Chairman John Gallagher presents Calvin Grove with his Hall of Fame plaque.
